Foundation and Empire – Isaac Asimov
Foundation and Empire is a science fiction novel by American writer Isaac Asimov first published by Gnome Press in 1952. It is the second book in the Foundation series and the fourth book on a cosmic timeline. It is set in two parts, initially published as separate stories. The second season, “La Mula”, won the Retro Hugo Award in 1996.
